I've been in touch with Lee recently. My e-mails worked, but sometimes it takes him awhile to answer. Your friend could try Face Book, too. He responds fastest to phone calls.

do you know if Lee Upshaw "does" anything other than Scale Shipyard? or is that the only employment/work/business he has?

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe that is his only work at present. He got hurt awhile back and that may have something to do with how he spends his time, too.
