Here is the short video.
You may need to watch a few times to see it. It needs more color.
The green blended in to the pond.
It needs longer tail surfaces to turn better at speed. BD

At speed the bomb fins are doing what they are used for in the real world.
Stabilizing the device. Consensus at the pond was. If I made the control services longer so they direct the flow coming off the fins it will turn better.
But the really odd thing is I ran it for the first time, never hit anything hard, and for about 10min.
That does not happen to me often. BD

I finally got around to adding extra heigth to the tail fins. So hopefully deflecting the flow past the rear stabilizers will help in maneuvers. They were made from brass so it was tricky soldering the brass to the fins without unsoldering the current parts.
I would have added new one piece fins but I did not have enough of that size brass.
I need to raid the LHS K&S bin I guess.
Photos to come. BD

My first outing in a while.
Went to the Buffalo aquatics center run.
The LaBamba was out of trim for the pools water density so foam was tacked on to test.
WOW!
The X tail extensions made a huge difference.
So much fun. Thanks to Speedy for the video footage. BD
