    Little Skipjack

I've pulled out my 1/230 (I believe) Skipjack to do some more work (after several years). I'm using the D&E conversion. I need to drill a .10 hole for the wire on the aft diving planes. Where would one purchase that size of a drill bit? Also, I was test fitting the WTC and every time I pushed the plexiglass onto another section, the seal became unseated. Would it be OK to spread a small amount of Vaseline (or something similar) to make this easier?

    Thank you

I have used Vaseline and I use silicone grease on o-rings.
For cylinder caps and for control rod seals as well as the propeller shaft seal.

I put a little on my first finger and then pull the o-rings between my first finger and thumb.

          Not that far.
Hwy 18 and Sheepcreek is near where I am.

Also SubRonLA gets together down at YORBA REGIONAL PARK, 7600 E. La Palma every so often.
I think the next gathering is Saturday, July 16th but I am not sure of the date.
          7-8 show up.
It is a small informal gather with some very knowledgeable sub builders and operator.
