New Paper Nautilus - Downloadable non-Goff Nautilus model

A link to this page was posted on the Jules Verne forum]Victorian Submarine[/url]
It's similar to Ian William's drawing on his web site, here and here.

    Very cool!

    I'd bet you could

    Very cool!

I'd bet you could fire off this design pretty quickly for a nice RC model...

I'll put it in my to-do box (currently overflowing).

      YES!

      The NAUTILUS that I am

      YES!

The NAUTILUS that I am building is almost like that one. But mine is 72nd scale.

Have thought about building another to match my Disney collecible at 96th though...

        Looks really easy to do!

Looks really easy to do! The wheelhouse looks a bit origami but still looks cool. I wonder if the parts are easy to cut and bend from thin styrene sheets, looking forward to build that one. I'll have an extra sub in my Nemonian fleet!

          Looks to me like it

Looks to me like it would be an ideal candidate for tinplate construction.

A couple of old gallon oil cans would be enough me thinks.

A metal hull could be used for practical 'ramming' too!

Nice enough, but the design isn't quite my cup of tea.
