    I guess the valves could work for something else. I have only used them with this system.
    The only down side I can see is getting the valves made and adjusted correctly.
    Which is the same with all systems. Sometimes water in the valves can hang them up if not made correctly.
    I have not had a lot of time to work with them.
    I did make a system for my cousins Holland sub.
    The real Holland was a decks awash dynamic diving boat so that is what he wanted.
    I added the DAWB ballast module to my UNI 2.5 system.
    It is working good so far.

      Here is a video I did of the ballast module for my cousins Holland being tested.
      You can see due to gravity the tank fills about twice as fast as it pumps out. BD

        When I made mine I brushed ten-x inside the hole where the balls and seating o rings went to get a smoother fit and maybe less hang ups on the rough cut the drill bit did when drilling.
        Nice vid. Looks like the valve can be used for any ballast system that uses a pump that works in both ways.
