Found Kevin O'Neill's Nautilus designs online last week. Started tinkering with them to see what they might have been like if he had collaborated with Jules Verne.
Here are my initial sketches.
And here is how big a possible scratchbuild might be in 72nd scale.
No idea when or if I will ever build her. Have to figure out the other views, fore, aft, dorsal and ventral. Won't be soon.
