I just got mine in the mail!
Tore open the box to see what it looks like. It's quite a bit smaller than I thought it would be. 70 meters in 144th scale is 19 inches. This one looks to be less than 12.
No forward or rear diving planes either. Though they were not obvious in Goff's version (or functional) they were there. I don't even see a place to put them without major surgery.
I have seen someone else's kit in progress so the frilly frou-frou windows aren't as silly looking to me as they were when I first saw this design. I will leave them as they are.
But the pilot house is a complete cock-up. I have to do something about that. And the planes. I know the sub is fictional. But I at least want it to look like it could work.
