Need an opinion on a radio!

    I think I've found a radio that I can afford]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCJG8**&P=7[/url]

I know that is preferable to have a radio with more channels than just four, but I'm working off a small budget.

So could you just tell me if this radio is good enough quality? (that way I can finish my sub and stop asking the board all these questions )

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Rechargeable batteries for the flight

Rechargeable batteries for the flight pack and transmitter are better than using disposables...but if you're on a tight budget...

                      i said BEC..
                      you plug speed

                      i said BEC..
you plug speed cont into receiver.
and you plug speed cont into battery you use for motors in sub.
no need for rec. battery pack...no rocket science here...just subs..

Okay, one of Ray Mason's tapes ('93 I think) Skip tells how to build a BEC. Can I do that? My ESC doesn't have a BEC.
