Hi fellow subbers.
Ever wondered how to make the exit of the stuffing box from the WTC watertight? I came up with this idea]http://www.robse.dk/pages/SSBN/Image/StufGlan.JPG[/img]
The stuffing box (From SubTech) exits through a metal cable gland (From RS Components or similar) rated IP68 (Watertight) to max. 5 bar... that's the pressure at 145ft. (44m.) Now just tighten the cable gland into the end of the WTC, and you're done.. That should do it...
