    Laquer/paint removal

I have an engel Lafayette that I built last year and subsequently painted it flat black, I used in my haste a gloss laquer (spray can). I am now keen to give it a proper paint job with some weathering.

My problem is I am not sure how to remove the laquer and then the subsequent paint, so the hull is back where I originally started from (if at all possible).

Any suggestions or direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Try using fairy power spray-

That lifts off most paints and lacquers, but won't harm the epoxy glass hull of the Laff.

Alternatively, if the current coat of paint isn't too thick, you could give it a light sanding and then apply a new layer of paint.
