    Typhoon bow planes

    Hi guys,
I'm building my 1/72 scale typhoon. What a joy but....
I tried several ways to retract AND turn the bow planes, but non of them worked fine. So, you guess it. Has somebody a "simple" and good working method.
The second question is if somebody knows where to find 3.3 inches 7 blade propellers.
    Thanks a lot
    And enjoy building

    if you do a short

if you do a short search , you will find my building thread about my 1/72 typhoon.. also over at the subpirates page.. i have a couple of pictures about my bow-planes.
if you look at my propps, i had them custom built by the late steve nuttall.. you have to find someone to make some.

where you get the hull from ?

there are not many companys for the 1/72 hull
i got mine from alan pew in australia

take also a look at my homepage for photos of my typhoon

        Jack,

i have a set of very good planes, that show a lot of detail especially the locations of all the flood holes.
alan sure builts a great model... unfortunately there are some mistakes on detail.. mainly on the stern.. but easy to fix.. take a look at my picktures, and you see how i did it.
i can email you a set of plans if you like.. but it will be about 2 to 3 weeks before i get back on the computer, due to moving..
shoot me an email at dieselsubmariner@yahoo.com.. and i reply to you, as soon im back online..

        in the meantime have fun
