Has anyone thought of scavaging

Has anyone thought of scavaging a motor from a crashed computer hardrive or floppy for a brushless motor.
One would still have to come up with a controller.

Would it have the torque required? desired rpm?
Could it be reversed?
Could it be mounted in the rear wall of a WTC to get rid
of the water tight seal of the prop shaft?

Not sure if this helps, but I found a place on the web called batteryspace.com and their prices seem good. I picked up two (they sell them in pairs) 7.2 volt NiMh batteries for $29. These are 3000 mah and have a drain rating of 30 amps. I plan on using one for my Dumas Akula, if I ever finish it. The weight seems about the same as an older 1500 mah NiCad I have. So, same weight twice the run time, no memory problems. Check out this site. They also have seperate cells if your into building custom battery packs.
