This is a preproduction hull.The scribing and hull lips will be on the production hull.It will include all the extras,plans,appendages that all the other Thor kits have.
This one will be armed with torpedos I already have.Lookout Sub Ron 5
Any idea when this production run might be availible for purchase. I know Matt is working on some US MILITARY PROJECTS, but she does look like a beauty and yet another masterful piece by MATT.
thanks Antoine for the pics! The sub, even without the scribing, looks great!! I believe that Matt has used Francesco Bradascio's plans for the "Gepard" ...a real work of art! Is this correct?

No I dont think. The Guepard looks different. I think the Thor hull is really an Akula II and not a Guepard (that seems to be an improved version of the akula II.....but looks like a totally different sub )
It is an Akula II.
There are some differences in the classes.The Akula is noticably shorter.The Gepard sail is thinner also.And without the pod on the top sail. This version does have the towed array pod on the top sail. The Akula improved is a "in between" version of the Akula and Akula II.
