Johann Sauer's Type XXVIW submarine - Request for information

I'm beginning work on a 1/72 Type XXI and have been contemplating putting a Type XXVI next to her in the diorama. I have the Winter '94 SubCommittee Report in front of me with Mr. Sauer's article and it has some drawings with the bow cut off and some rather murky pictures. Does anyone have any photos of his model that they could share? Are there any references worth tracking down? I found the following title, "Die Walter UBoote Typ XVIII und XXVI Vom Original zum Modell" that looks useful. Is it worth buying for this particular submarine or does it concentrate on the XVIII?

Thanks for any and all help.

    I can tell you that

I can tell you that the book you mentioned (or at least other books from that series) are very usefull as they provide a lot of drawings and photo's. I have a number of older European moddeling magazines (Schiffspropellor, Modelwerft, etc.) with articles about that particular submarine (model). If you're interested I can scan and email them for you.
