On every anniversary of every

On every anniversary of every military situation our Country has taken part in, people want to "...thank those who GAVE their lives..." for dying. As a retired military combat veteran whose can trace his ancestry back through nine centurysof military, I tire of hearing that men AND women GAVE the lives; their lives were TAKEN! Please don't take me wrong here, but everytime I got in an aircraft or helicopter or went into the field in Vietnam, I wasn't looking forward to GIVING my life to anyone. I knew I was there for a reason and that was NOT to GIVE my life to anyone. People we fought in every war we have participated in right through today's actions in the Middle East were EVIL people who did EVIL things. The ONLY things we do wrong is that we have not used the most expedient means in our possession to eradicate these EVIL people. Please thank those who have LOST their lives or who have had their lives TAKEN from them. Remember, the only people you can can truely say GAVE their lives were Jap (yes I said it) suicide pilots and troops and Islamic suicide bombers. I know I'm not Politically Correct but then, my Country, like the Roman Empire will soon be a part of history anyway!
