Los Angeles Flight III reference request - Abject begging for assistance!

Hello,

After a log absence from building submarine models, I've gotten the bug again and, along with resubscribing to the Report, have settled on my desired project.

I'd like to scratchbuild a static 1/72 LA Flight III submarine and am asking for help. I'm ordering the Deep Sea Designs plans out of general principles but they read that they cover up to the flight II's. Aside from one book with some decent photos I've found few decent reference photos or plans of these boats in the bookstore or on the net. Can anybody point me in the right direction or, if they have any good detail photos, could they share them?

BTW, I'd like to tackle a 671 Akula II, the Gepard either after or concurrently. I've found some stuff on the web and have ordered every modern russian submarine book from armybook.com but reference suggestions here would be welcome as well.

While I am thinking about

While I am thinking about it, I'm assuming that buying the back issue of the The SubCommittee Report
Issue 44, March 2001 with Mr. Merriman's article on the LA subs would be a good idea as well. Are there any other back issues that are recommended post #32 (when my subscription ran out)?
