uboat schematics

g'day all

this might sound like a strange request/question... but here i go. Im a 3d modeller (lightwave perticulary), and i have searched and searched for schematics for u-boats... ANY uboats... allied or even german... and ive come up with zip.

I need schematics so i can get the shape right and have something to work from.

but as mentioned before, ive searched and come up with nothing. I was wondering if you might have some links, or might be able to email me, some sites/images with u-boat schematics

look for Vom Original zum

look for Vom Original zum Modell books, for Type VII, XXIII, XXI, IX boats....along with these books were planrolles from Fritz Kohl for each of these types. They have full plans reproduced in miniature in the backs of the books, if you can't find the planrolles themselves. (try amazon.de)
Also check with Taunbman Plan services for plans. (see subcommittee.com, vendor list)

Also, place a request in the subswap area of these boards- perhaps a German member may be able to get some to you.
