I'm sure that this has been done to death on these boards but I couldn't come up with anything on a search. I'm toying with a Revell 1/144 Type XXI for my Sen-Taka diorama but it seems a bit small. I can't really go much larger than 1/96 simply because I don't have enough reference material to detail the Sen-Taka at a larger scale. So, does anyone make a good Type XXI hull?
Secondly, I know that once upon a time there was some real debate over the accuracy of the Type XXI plans in the Zum Model and hence Anatomy of the Ship books. Are there better plans available for this class than the Planrolle? If so, where do I find them. Kind of springing off of that, I have several good photo references for the Type XXI but I've never found any good views of the interior of the gun turrets. Are there any out there or should I just take my best guess?
