THIS IS A BEIGE ALERT!!! - I need some help getting neutral here.

On a boat that uses Dynamic diving, can I get closer towards neutral buoyancy by adding more lead weight inside? Or should I fill-up more of the inside space with.........stuff. Thanks for the help here.

The closer to neutral bouyancy you can get, the easier it will be to dive the boat. It will also mean that your safety factor goes down proportionately as well, and your sub will run much lower in the water while surfaced.

If that's what you want, add weight low in the hull to aid in stability.

Getting scale waterline in a

Getting scale waterline in a dynamic diver is next to impossible unless you're running extremely fast with huge control surfaces.

Will the low waterline look scale? Not really. It would make for really wet feet or the crew when the only thing sticking up over the waterline is the conning tower...
