Volunteer yourself to help with one of the many friggin tasks he performs (with little or no thanks), or nominate yourself to an officer position and change it from within.

I regret how my original posting, which began here as an innocent message to inform members about what I think is a very good film, would then became so weird. I hope my other postings will help promote learning and research.

Jeff is doing a great

Jeff is doing a great job. There is a lot of work involved with the SubCommittee website and the putting together the SC Report, a really good quality publication with excellent "mechanicals" (the way it looks) and content.

Over the past 10 years there has been a rapid decline in those people willing to help and do things to support non-profit organizations. We still have that 2-10% of any organization's membership actually doing something constructive for their organizations but now the numbers of members are declining. This decline in membership is occurring in most local places of worship and in most public service organizations.

Thank you Jeff for all that you do for the SC!

You can't imagine the amount of horse hockey that Jeff and the two Jims have to put up with. Why do you think its so hard to get people to volunteer or to run for office in this group? To be threatened by an immature dorkus? I think not.

Bravo Zulu to the SC Executive Committee and the other volunteers (Steve included) who work behind the scenes to make this club function.
