Here is something semi-related. USS Pasadena returning to Pearl on 10/31/03. Notice how there is gray paint hap- hazardly applied to the top horizontals of the sail with what looks like a paint brush. Likely to dull down the top black shape of the sail at periscope depth. Love these subtle 'field modifications' by the crews. Also notice the different camo for the masts. Anyone know if these are individual boat camo's or part of a fleet wide system?
