Thresher's  (SSN-593) paint scheme at loss?

Does anyone at the Albacore Museum or anyone who worked at the Portsmouth NSY yard in 1963 recall how Thresher (SSN-593) was painted during her last overhaul just before her loss? Did she use the standard Navy scheme (black on upper half of hull and red oxide lower half)? All Black? Other? Posing this question for Paul Crozier who now is about to paint his completed Matt Thor 'Permit' as USS Thresher (SSN-593). My guess would be the standard Navy scheme, but an all black (like Albacore) was also a possiblity then too. I could speculate till the cows come home, but anyone out there with diffinative proof?

Any retired NSY workers recall?
