my HOA allows me to use my development's pool. after having a small chat with the HOA president (who is retired Navy) we decided to categorize my subs as "pool toys" for the sake of discussion. the only restrictions i have to live with are that "biologicals" have first priority on pool use, and pool is open 7 days a week 9am to 9pm memorial day to labor day. use of pool outside those hours is restricted. I would have liked to be able to use it from 7am to 9am on saturdays... but that's when the pool man cleans it.
only sad thing is that the pool is only 16' by 32', so its kinda small.
Going on two years now and no luck. It's Hanson dam or a friends pool to test. It's hard being a submariner in Ventura county. Thanks guys for trying.
