    WTC. Air pressure

    He'll all, can someone guide me,

    I have purchased a WTC and get the basics of how it all works, quick question on the one thing.

    I have a tyre pressure nipple to pressurise the WTC but how much pressure is enough, it uses a simple water pump to fill and empty my rubber bladder to dive but am confused about the WTC pressure requirements.

    Any guidance would be great?

      Hi, it is from the RC Sub Workshop, he seemed to have good reviews and on first impression it looks good to me (obviously not an atuned eye).

      It is fully tested as waterproof in the bath and all the parts work, it has a FW/Rev ESC to fill and empty the ballast tank, 2 x FW/Rev ESX for props and included two metal props and shafts.

      Here is a photo of the unit, one end has a tyre valve for pressurising.

        Typically, the valve on the end cap is not used for pressurizing. That would only tend to pop out the end caps. Normally, the valve is used to aid in removing or installing the end caps by equalizing the pressure inside the cylinder to ambient pressure. You puch in the valve stem (or remove it) to open or close the cylinder.

          From the photo, it looks like the pump has a tube connected to the forward bulkhead that allows the pump to draw and discharge water to/from the bag. In this configuration you do not need nor want to pressurize the WTC. When you pump water into the bag, there will be an increase in the internal pressure.

          Do I also see that there are some tie rods running from end cap to end cap through the inside of the WTC? Those will keep the end caps from popping off when the bag is full of water.

            Thanks, that's great information, makes perfect sense for its usage.

            it all starts to sit in my head much better now.

            Its a slow but worthwhile learning process.

              I recently purchase to WTC - Air Pressure. Fortunately I am at right time to get basic acknowledgment about this machine. This is informative guidelines which is appreciable.
