    Back Issues

Is there any word on when back issues 64, 65, 67, and 78 will be available online? Thanks.

    Re: Back Issues

Still waiting on a volunteer to scan and convert it to pdf.

Here's some incentive: free hard cover copies of those remaining back issues for the volunteer who scans them and creates the pdf. Do the work and they are yours to keep (I'm assuming the prospective volunteer doesn't have those issues and wants to see them).
    Warm regards,

      Re: Back Issues

I actually do have those issues already. Since that is the reason they're not up, I can go ahead and try scanning them next week but I have no idea how to make a pdf file out of them, so I might need help with that.

        Paul,
I will be glad to scan them and convert to PDF (and any others that need to be redone), if you would let me.
        Peace,
        tom

I can see about getting you copies, Tom, if you and goose814 can work together and get them scanned info files.
          Warm regards,

            Re: Back Issues

            Guys,
I have a scanner and software to convert to PDFs (and I have done it in the past). I also have all of the missing issues, so I can split the work with someone (e.g., Tom-aka salmon) or eventually do it all. If we are going to do this, let's coordinate so we don't duplicate efforts. Paul, can you coordinate efforts??

That is great! Many hands will make light work of this. Having a single point of contact is a good idea if we are going to have multiple people working together. So Paul, can I call you Boss?

                Re: Back Issues

I've got all the issues except number 65, which unfortunately someone walked off with at a show I attended a few years ago.

I have access to a pretty decent scanner (A Ricoh model that can go up to 1200dpi), which makes very light work of scanning these things, and it converts to PDF internally. It means slicing up my reports to feed them in- no big deal, so long as I have them in electronic format, that's good enough for me.

                  Salmon,

I have all four issues on their way to you. However, it doesn't look like you need to do them all. I count four guys who can do the work (TomD, Andy, Salmon and goose814). Post here which issue you want to scan and then proceed. Once done, contact me and I'll have you upload them to Dropbox. I'll get them online from there.

Andy, I should be able to get you a replacement issue 65 and another print copy of the one you do if necessary.
                  Warm regards,

                    Re: Back Issues

I've found the issue 65 now, must have been another issue that got swiped.

My Issue 64 is a little dog-earred, so if someone has a better copy, they might want to volunteer to do that.

                      Re: Back Issues

Done Issue 65, just a couple of things to tidy up, then I'll stick it on dropbox to put on the site.

Issue 64 is now scanned. At 600 DPI, it is a big file. Paul-where do you want me to put this? I have Dropbox on my computer, so just give me the Dropbox file location.

That leaves 67 and 78 to do. I can do 67 on Monday. Tom, would you like to do 78? Then we have a full house.
