I regret that this notice is a bit tardy in that this tragic news occurred last week, but for those of you interested and not yet aware, the SubCommittee's own Steve Neill (FX pro, model builder extraordinaire, SCR contributor, former SC V.P. candidate, etc.) just lost his lovely wife Gilly after a fierce and prolonged battle with cancer. Steve made the announcement on his regular build blog to let everyone know…

…and is already back to work out of financial necessity and the need for the comfort and diversion of maintaining his daily routine. Steve's now being hit with the requisite overwhelming medical bills and funeral expenses, of course, and anyone wishing to help him out can donate through his website…
…or instead simply reach him via the e-mail link there with thoughts of condolence and/or inquiries about model building commissions to help keep him working.
I'm sure I can safely speak for the entire SubCommittee in expressing our collective sympathies for Steve. At this obviously difficult time, our thoughts are with you, buddy.
