    Newbie

    Hi all!
I just joined and thought I would say hi!
I'm considering different options for building a model of Greenling (SSN-614) for a friend of mine who was on her in the early 70's. Tom Dougherty, responding to a post I placed on ModelWarships.com, provided me some great infomation and provided the link to the SubCommittee. I couldn't resist.

        Welcome! Glad you joined us.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

          Thanks guys!
I'm sure that I will have plenty of questions for you, as I have decided to try and scratch build Greenling. It will be my first attempt at it, so it should be interesting.
