Israeli Dolphin class

Are the Israeli Dolphins a modification of the German Type 212 or a new design? And, am I seeing a green tint to their color?

I can't post the pic, but green color shows in a photo of what looks a Dolphin still under construction and one photo at pierside..........

Could be. They wouldn't be the first country to paint their subs a shade of green if they're going to operate in the Med.
