SCR article on large scale submarine

All,

In the next issue of the SCR there will be an article on large scale r/C subs. If you have, or are building a large scale R/C sub, please send me pics and information asap! Any large boat in 1/32nd, 1/48th, 1/24th, or bigger is what I am looking for. I know there are getting to be more and more of these out there, so lets get them some press.

....how about my 1/9th scale OTW Seehund with custom-built dive module? You can take photos, etc. of it at the SubRegatta. Same for my 1/24th scale Type XXIII and 1/32nd scale Type II......

I will hopefully have my 1/48 Icefish at the regatta which I am installing my new cylinder system in.
I built her about 17 years ago and pulled out the old technology and installed my newest WTC to show it can control a large boat like this as well as the smaller 1/96 Alfa it has been testing in.
I have my fingers crossed I can as Larry says. "Get-er-done!" BD.

She goes in the pool today for the first test.
Fingers crossed I have the ballasting close.
You know a fairly large sub I have always wanted is a 571.
I still have high hopes.
I know if you can get it done it will be the best. BD.

Thanks, Dave! She (571) is in primer and will be ready for the mold shop when I get back from the Regatta. Jeffrey will have a hull in his hand shortly for the photo etched brass work....she sure is pretty!

How do you Send In Photos?
I Have build Pics Of My 31 year old Gato In 1/48th Scale
Build Pics Of My SeaWitch ( SSN-24 ), Akula K-267 Dragon and
My Missile Boat SSBN-656 All In 1/48 Scale.
