Has there been any decision made on making the back catalogue of SCR's available online?
This is an important reference for existing modellers and those entering the hobby. After all most of the nuts have been cracked, and anything new coming through tends to be a refinement of existing devices. Newcomers typically ask the same questions over and over, which have been covered many times over the years in various reports. With a cross referencing system or search facility, the reports could become a seriously powerful tool, and potential source of revenue, like one giant model submarine FAQ.
It may also get a little coal on the fire and encourage members to dust-off those projects sitting up on the shelf.
Regarding our webpage, does anyone else think it looks a tad cluttered and rather dated? Has anyone considered a more simplified Home page with a large Sub Committe logo surrounded by a few straightforward options with easy to click on icons- e.g. About us, Gallery, Forum, FAQ, Join us, Links etc.
I think the Sonar-ev website is a very good example of a modern looking home page which strikes just the right balance.
