    Transporting big subs

After discovering that transporting large scale subs is a large pain I decided to build a cart to haul my new to me Robee Type VII.I wanted something lite and simple"KISS".I bought some 1 1/4 x 1/8 aluminum channel and a set of 10 inch wheels and tires for the rear, and 4 in.casters for the front. Then I made a trip to the local wield shop to have it fabbed up.The next stop was at a friends garage to have him buff it to a high shine. Then I installed the cradles to hold the boat. This cart will also double as a launch cart when needed.

This is the craddle for my AKULA II. I also use it to convey a surface ship. It size is just the right to pass through my car rear doors.
