    New Servos

Instead of using a potentiometer it uses magnetic induction. Note also that it uses a Titanium alloy in the gear train.

Titanium gear sets are overkill for model subs unless you're making something big. These servos are torque monsters, and the titanium geartrain will permit that torque to be applied.

For what's on offer, I think the price is good. It would be nice to see magnetic encoders on servos with plastic geartrains.

We need also a concerted effort to make a truly waterproff servo. weve already got waterproff speed controllers and waterproff connectors. If all the electronics were waterproff you could put anything anywhere in your boat, not just in the dryspace. If we can put a man on the moon and can split the atom we should be able to do it and do it cheaply.
