Rubis/ Amethyste nuclear

I collected these pictures last week and decided to post them on the French nuclear submarine classes Rubis / Amethyste. My understanding is that the Amethyste portion of the name is describing the extensive quieting features.??. If anyone would care to add to this post with info or general comments, please do so.
