Jeff, Your boat is still by far the best looking type IX out there.Love the weathering.Wish I could find the time to finish mine. Brought it to last years regatta in Colorado anyway. It's behind my type VII. A late war IX with the cut back deck, the U-858. My vote has been and will always be for the larger boats. The way they look and operate on the water. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Your friend Ted.
hey Ted,
Thanks alot, and glad to hear from you. The last time I saw you was at the SanFransisco Regatta 3 weeks after 9-11, You still have the best running type VII I have ever seen. Good luck with your type IV. Mine took 2 years to build and I mean 2 full years,
I was off work one summer and It took 3 weeks to make the deck working on it 4-6hrs a day. But I agree with you the larger boats look better in good and bad seas......... Jeff J.
Too old to Rock- n- Roll, too young to die ! Subs are just my speed......

Hi Matt,
That will be great to get a 1/48 Type IXC.How much longer than the XXI will it be.And should I be looking to expanding my new yard to make room for this beast.Oh,by the way did I mention that I would like to preorder this boat when ever it`s done.
