    Alorosa Kilo

The Alorosa Kilo as shown here is a mystery to me. Is there any speed advantage over the standard model or is it mainly to make it run quieter? I say this because supposedly the quietest sub in the world is said to be the German type 212 and it uses an exposed propellor.

I may be wrong but I thinks all these pictures are of the only Kilo equipped with a pumpjet- the Alorosa.

Check out the trim on the scum line.
They had to have the tail deep in the water to keep her from sucking air I am sure.
I have the same problem with my 1/144 conversion.
I am sure the PJ is a lot heaver than the prop too. BD.
