        Re: Project Azorian Book

The manuscript is now in the hands of Naval Institute Press, and is featured in their Fall 2010 catalog. The book will be loaded with illustrations, many of which have never seen the light of day before. This book should put to rest many of the conspiracy theories that have emerged over the years about this amazing operation. It is a factual account of the project told by several of the engineers who were involved; most of whom made the 1974 voyage to the wreck site for the initial recovery attempt.

          Re: Project Azorian Book-UPDATE

Release Date for the book now set for Nov. 15, 2010. You can pre-order on Amazon:

The book will include many B&W and color illustrations.
Illustrations include Color plates of the Glomar Explorer, the Capture Vehicle, the HMB-1 barge and the pipestring system.
Also in the book are 1974 images of K-129 wreck from the Capture Vehicle cameras.

Looks as if PBS may release the NTSC version of the DVD in the US. Currently only the PAL version
is available from Michael White's Azorian web site. BTW, the PAL version plays fine on any computer with
a DVD player, and on many later model US DVD Players.
