Dave, If I may be so bold, I'm thinking those design features you have there may not only work in reverse, but may prove to be both a reverse and forward emergency braking system, so you may want to consider it in your patent pending description. "Actually I invented that a long time ago. Besides a brake, the one I invented also worked as a sub starter, and as a sub rescue device. The only problem was that it had a limited range, so I'm testing a long fishing rod to solve that problem.

On the new fishing pole model, I'm considering adding a motorized reel. That way, casting out to retrieve a wayward sub model won't be such a labor intensive ordeal.
