    2010 Sub Regatta Chairmen

        The Indy Admirals have volunteered to continue offering their assistance and use of the reflecting pond at Carmel. If we want to avail ourselves of that offer and take advantage of all the assistance they give, the location would then be a no-brainer.

        What is required is for a group of SubCommittee members to step forward and take the lead in making that happen.

          In the past, one of

          In the past, one of the local chapters has taken charge of the Subregatta by dividing up tasks between their members. What might be a nice change of pace for this year's event would be that several chapters would take part, after all, this is "our" event.
          What we would need is a couple of people from every Subron to volunteer. The different tasks would be radio impound, raffle prizes, running and static events with prizes, Saturday night seminar, announcing, and registration. If one Subron can do the entire event, dividing it up would be a piece of cake.
          I take care of getting the tent, tables, and chairs; setting up the hotel; and trying to get a TV spot for us.

            Gentlemen the Subregatta is you

            Gentlemen the Subregatta is you your yearly event as members of the Subcommittee.
            You should want to make sure the event is put on each and every year.
            As of today Nov. 2, 20009 no one has step up to be the chairmen for the 2010 Subregatta, I would like to let you know that if no one wants to be chairmen of the 2010 Subregatta then there will be no 2010 Subregatta. Gentlemen if you want to see this event take place in 2010 then someone should step up and become chairmen for the event.
