Passing of Erv Crosby

I am sorry to announce that Ervin L. Crosby (Erv) passed away on Sept. 29th after a long brave battle with cancer. Erv served in the U.S. Navy and was a crew member of the USS Wahoo 565. Throughout Erv's life he enjoyed a multitude of projects including the construction of a two man submarine, building kites and RC boats. Erv had a contagious "Yes you can" attitude and will be greatly missed by the SubComIP guys and many others that he touched during his life.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Gail, family and friends.

  I am greatly distressed to hear that!!!  I have had good dealings with him at Atomic Subs, purchasing sub hardware and recieving advice.  He was always the bend over backwards to help you kind of guy.   He will be sorely missed!  Please express my condolances to his widow for us all.

Remembring Erv

I was sadden to learn of Erv's passing. I remenber all the great times we had together running Subs over the years. Times full of fun and fellowship. Time well spent. Our very Best Wishes to his family....Mike Dory

I never knew the man

I never knew the man but from what I read here I wish I had. You guys were lucky to have known such a man.

He will be missed.

I am sorry to read of Erv's passing...
Seems like he was just here at Tualtin too..

I hope the the events that he sponsored will continue, and
that we will still see tables of submarines at Tualtin in the coming year.
