that looks like the extended conning tower Bob Dimmack sells for the Type VII. I built the original for him. He sells it with a deck modification, and will also sell you the Tamiya quad kit if you wish to make that variation.

...it may be based on the OTW extended Wintergarten tower, but the deck isn't the same, so I'm guessing it's from somewhere else.

Jeff is right that's a 32 Parallel deck and most like the whole boat is from the looks of it. After cutting by hand all those decks slots as I did lately one tends to get familiar with the deck.

No Type VII has ever had two deck guns.
