    Cheers Andy.

Thats not much bigger than Otw upholder.

Yeah im not really a fan of nuk boats

But really like the alfa and typhoon.

    Fav subs are WW2

    Otw VII/C.
    Mylo's VII/41.
    Otw S class.
    Engel Gato.

I think the above are cracking subs.

However in this climate at the moment i would rather give my cash to a Uk kit supplier therefore no shipping costs and im doing my part for economy of uk well thats what i keep telling er indoors so im not pestered too much about costs lol.

Andy any other motors that might come to mind for straight drive dont want to use gearbox.

Wheelerdealer please by all means any info on the subtech kit???

    regards and thanks again

I'd be looking at a blower motor from the car breakers (car heater matrix blower not a radiator fan- those can be a bit too thirsty).

Another good source are powered caddy motors. Chiefly 'powacaddy'- if you now any golf club managers, a lot of clientele throw these out when something packs up on them, often the speed controller, but the motors are very good and usually in fine shape.

Any of those should be more than up to the job, they have the advantage of usually being in excess of 10 poles, so they tick over nicely at slow RPM.

I like some nuclear boats, and Russian boats are very well streamlined. What I don't like is their small control surfaces, which make them far from nimble. You can of course modify them to make them full flying etc. whereupon the boats will be very agile.

Personally my favourite types of boats are science-fiction and civilian subjects. I also like a lot of very early boats i.e. pre WWI.

                Received the plans from boris.

                Lot's of detail on them.

Boris supplies in any number of different ways.

                I.e Jpeg/cd file and a few others.

He also has autocad and i believe a cnc file for the Alfa.

I was also given some info on staggered fore planes and a few pic's of prop and creepers.

If you plan on purchasing a set of his plan's not just Alfa
he does Western union i was a bit apprehensive having never used before but there was no problem.

All in the plans cost £44 but you pay a £12 fee or less to Western union depending on how you wish the money sent.

Upon receiving of said funds Boris is very quick to email with plans and pic's and also says to email him if you require anything else i.e the above mentioned Autocad and CNC file...
