    ? on nuke hulls ??

    hey guys,
On the nuke hulls when they are split, and you add a lip to line the top and bottom back up again, how much of a lip do you leave over the edge on the lower half to line up the upper half. Thanks in advance. I would guess a 1/4" or so. Too much and it would mess you up putting the hull back together, too little and it wouldn't be strong enough to keep the boat in one piece while running... hummmm and more ??'s LOL. Jeff Jones

    Jeff,

    A 1/4 inch is

    Jeff,

A 1/4 inch is good. Taller than that and, as you stated, you could get in to interference issues which could cause you extra work in trimming the lip back down any way.

    Good luck,

    Bill
