After 46 years, 1 month, and 2 days of working for Corporate America, I am retired and starting on the best part of my life's journey. U-96 is an OTW model and docked on a table with Offical French photos above taken at Brest after the base was liberated by the U. S. Army. The gold shadow box has a piece of concrete from the U-boat Pen bombed out area...

To celebrate my retirement, I purchased "The Homecoming" print by Robert Taylor. The print is signed by the author and 3 Focke Wulf 190 pilots awarded the Knights Cross, and by 3 U-Boat Captains who were also awarded the Knights Cross. The U-boat looks like U-96 with the laughing sawfish on the side of the tower...

Below are some additional photos. The flags were all flown over the state capitals. The Focke Wulf FW-190 and the Messerchmitt Me-109 are scratch built with a wing span greated than 48 inches. The WWII German daggers are all original with custom cases; Naval, SS, Luft Waffe, SA, Army in one case, and a DLV in the lower case. There is a Red Baron cap and photo and a U-boat Kaulan white top cap hanging on an aerial periscope...
