    Colors for Blueback/Barbel/Bonefish

I am finishing up an SWM model of the Blueback and am wondering how I should paint it. I could probably paint it all dark grey/black and be OK but I'm looking for something a little more visible at a 3 foot depth. Short of a orange/white barber pole scheme is there anything else, prototypically correct is best but not absolutely necessary, that would help me keep track of the boat? I've been unable to locate any pictures that might help but if you have some........

    Thanks for your time,

    Dan

      Tom,

      Thanks for the photos, I

      Tom,

Thanks for the photos, I had not seen those before. I see three colors here: black, almost a deep purple, and the reddish anti-fouling paint. Is that typical?

I realize I'm at cross purposes here in that any color that'll help me see it from the shore would be exactly what the Navy would not want to paint it in real life. So maybe there was a "shakedown" color or a "just launched" color scheme that would serve.

      Thanks for your help,

      Dan
