You generally need some special software to download You Tube videos. I use one called Capture Wiz. You play the video on your screen and use CW to screen capture the video and audio.Comment

Well, I did find some
Well, I did find some dedicated software with the inspired name of "YouTube Video Downloader"
This one works without having the video being played on your computer screen. Just copy and paste the video's URL and click the download button.
I also came across a video of a US sub diving, as seen from its periscope. Very nice!
