Hi all,
well, I've finally made my mind up: my next sub project will be the RC'd Moebius Seaview. To spread the expenses, I intend to buy the necessary parts and equipment in the course of the next six months or so. I have already ordered the Seaview kit itself; that's on its way now.
I also wanted to buy the Caswell/Merriman fittings kit at this stage, but Caswell does not accept orders through their website from non-US customers. Those should order by submitting an order form and by wire transfers. Rather cumbersome IMHO.
Now don't get me wrong, I fully understand their policy in this, with all the credit card fraud going on and the near impossibility to take legal action against non-payers abroad ( I know from experience with a non-delivering US trader). But I in turn have some very unpleasant experiences with wire transfers, not to mention the extra costs involved.
So that's where my request for assistance from a US SC member comes in. Would anyone of you be so kind to order the product from Caswell and then send it on to me? You having a Paypal account would of course make things a lot easier.
