            USS Cod

I am working on a Revell Gato which with the help of many will hopefully be a model of the USS Cod. We will see. I hope to get wet sometime in the spring.

              Nothing! Not a darn thing.

Nothing! Not a darn thing. Can you believe it? I can't.

I want to build a U-47 if I can find one someone gave up on a a low price.

It's enough (actually it would be enough if I had a darn boat to build) these days to keep the bills paid but I really want something on my bench.

              So I'm working on it.

Well I've got a SWM Trafalgar to finish, an Engel Akula and and Eden Akula to repair. Got lots of time since being made redundant.

I know that U812 has very good skills when it comes to building from scratch. So here is a challenge for you. Make a small static sub for as little money as possible. I once saw a plan for a freescale nuclear sub, that had a water pump ballast tank, you know, draws air in through the periscope, slightly positive buoyant. It was in either model boats or marine modeling. It had no real detail, just two little teardrop halves glued together with a simple Sail atop. Just how cheap can it be? An ideal starter sun in these recessionary times.

Still working and modifying the Albacore and the Seaview(52"). Have recently started another builders thread on the scaleships Oscar and a static model of the Revell Gato. If I like the finished product I may think about converting it to R.C.(Big Dave rcabs?) Will purchase the new Lindburg Japanese sub from Caswell and who knows.
