I agree with everyone who said something along the lines of relaxing with your boats.
If it were me, I'd resign, turn off my cell phone, grab my favorite sub, and go play ....to hell with the world, ...but that's just me.
I was impressed with you not only as President, but as a good guy when we met at Regatta. Get well, I don't like it when bad things happen to decent people.
I wish you well for a speedy recovery. Having had minor health problems for two years I know how worrying it can be. As someone from the UK may I thank you for all that you have done for the Subcommittee and wish you well for the future.
Tim, I've had three mild strokes. The first was thought to be a heart attack by Air Force doctors, It wasn't until six years ago that my current doctors ordered up a MRI which told the whole story. I've had, I believe at least 25 TIAs, but I know now what to do when they come on. The most important thing to do, I was told by the specialists was to take control of my life and free my mind of ancillary responsibilities. You've done a fine job for SubCommittee and we all know it. Take care of yourself and let others take the responsibilty of running our group. I'll be placing your name in our prayer list at the Arizona Temple tomorrow. We're with you and available if you need help.
Sorry, to read about your health issues Tim, your needful absence from the presidency will be sorely missed. My wife and I will keep you in our prayers for your speedy recuperation. Regards, Jody and Pam
Tim,
Sorry to hear about your health. You take care and get well. I always enjoyed working with you and your crew at the regattas. You deserve some rest after all your hard work. Take care.
Tim,
You must realize that the people of the Subcommittee love you for a friend and leader. I have had the pleasure to meet you and be personally helped by you. Take care and do the things necessary to get back on track. I and others want to see you at the regattas with that ever present grin and freindly, helpful attitude. Good luck and happy holidays.
