I am looking to buy a new radio for my subs, however, the 75MHz is like hen's teeth. Can anyone tell me if the new 2.4GHz will work it seems that is all any one is pushing.

No, 2.4 Ghz signals are absorbed by water.
So, 2.4Ghz does not work for subs, you will need a lower frequency.

Tried E-bay or any surface ship r/c forum ?
There must be a lot of surface dwellers wanting to
switch from 75 Mhz to 2.4 Ghz....
