    Venting water. Blowing ballest Tanks

Has anyone made there rc subs shoot water into the air when blowing a ballest and /or vent water like the real subs do outside our normal way which cannot be seen or heard?

If someone knows a method please point me in the right direction.

    Thanks
    Tom

      my typhoon has vents along

my typhoon has vents along side the coning-tower . i glased a u-shaped piece of brass tubing on the underside of the deck and drilled very tiny holes through the vents next to the sail into the tubing. center of the tubing is connected to a water-pump (windshield-washer) which is activated , when i dive. system works pretty good, but unfortunately the boat is not operational yet, to show any video / pictures..

Some years ago, an inexpensive product came out which is a personal mister. A tiny nozzle is fed by a pump of some sort to create a water mist spray to cool your face or whatever on a hot day. There was some talk on the old SC forums back then about installing these in the MBT vents to simulate that "thar' she blows" effect when diving. Similar idea to what Stefan is talking about. I don't recall that anyone ever followed through on it. You may find the misters at Walley-world, or maybe a pool supply center.

          I am using misting nozzles

I am using misting nozzles and windshield washer pumps. It works well, but does use a fair amount of battery. The nozzles are available online, at Home Depot and some hardware stores.
